Sailing

Ein Jugendtraum von mir ist mit einem eigenem Segelboot einmal um die ganze Welt zu reisen. Und einige Jahre im Pacific auf den vielen Inseln zu verbringen. Ein paar Grundkenntnisse habe ich mir bereits bei der Ausbildung angeeignet. Erfahrung aber gleich null. Derzeit keine Perspektive, da meine Frau seekrank wird.

It was all times a dream of me to travel around the world with a own sailing boat. And spend a couple of years on the many islands in south Pacific. Some basic knowledge I have collected by doing the some motor boat and sailing licenses in Germany and Italy. But my experience is nothing. At this time no perspective due my wife gets sea sick.

Ausbildung

Training

Die Segelausbildung ist mühsam, da sie blockweise und relativ lange dauert. Das soll keine Kritik sein, es ist die Feststellung eines der sich damit geplagt hat. Weiterhin werden die Praxisnachweise erwartet, die ich als Bajuware nicht am Weekend machen kann. In den Urlaubsgebieten werden dann auch nur Wochenblocks angeboten, und das fällt mir doch schwer, da der Urlaub bereits für das Tauchen verplant ist. Und eine brauchbare Kombination von beiden habe ich noch nicht gefunden.

The training for sailing is labored, due it is block by block and relative log. That's not a critic on the training, it is my experience when I have done it. Additional there are expected praxis verifications which I as a Bavarian citizen cannot realize on the weekends. In the holiday spots they are offered as week long training, and this is difficult for me due all my holiday time is already used for diving. And a suitable combination of both I have not yet found.
